Through the Media Production Workshop, students at 迈阿密 国际 University of Art & Design are showcasing their talents while giving back to the community. The workshop is a student-staffed and run class that develops projects for local nonprofits and governmental organizations. 学生们 provide media support with various projects including Public Service Announcements, TV programs, and social media ads.

Past projects include work for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, the Humane Society of Broward County, Boys & Girls Clubs, AAA, and the American Red Cross. 学生们 volunteer their time and knowledge to create everything from Public Service Announcements to fundraising videos, corporate promotions, training programs, webcast videos, live events, cable TV programs, short form documentaries, music videos and concerts, and social media videos.

The Media Production Workshop’s results are rewarding not just for the client organizations, but for the students who’ve earned ADDY Awards, Clio Awards, Telly Awards, and Golden Palms for their work. But perhaps the greatest achievement is seeing the finished projects out in the community—sharing a message of volunteerism and creativity that circles back to the core values of 迈阿密 国际 University of Art & Design.
